Kulturhuef
The former slaughterhouse "Kulturhuef" in Grevenmacher offers a unique cultural offer in Luxembourg. The regional cultural centre houses the „Print and Playing Card Museum of Luxembourg, a small cinema and a bistro.
The "Gutenberg Revisited" exhibition, revised in 2018, offers, amongst others, a timeline on the history of printing and many new objects (texts: DE, FR, EN). The exhibition Jean Dieudonné illustrates the techniques of playing-card production and illuminates the history of the Dieudonné family as playing-card manufacturers in Grevenmacher. Multilingual free guided tours and a wide range of workshops complete the museum programme. Group tours through both exhibitions can be organised on request.
With a minimums of 13 films screenings per week, programming includes blockbusters, films for children and arthouse films. In addition, special sessions with directors and experts on specific films and topics are held regularly. Special school or anniversary sessions can be booked.
